Fuel relief: DSWD-7 continues ₱5K payout to 19K+ trike drivers

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — More tricycle drivers in Central Visayas are set to receive financial assistance as the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 7 (DSWD-7) continues its aid rollout from April 16 to 18, 2026. The payout covers 19,816 tricycle drivers from Cebu and Bohol under the Cash Relief Assistance program, which provides one-time ₱5,000 aid to drivers affected by fuel price increases linked to tensions in the Middle East.
