There's just a little over two weeks until the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night, and the delegates that are closer and closer to the crown continue to take on challenges on the way to the coronation. Just recently, the queens had to undergo the Miss Universe Philippines closed-door interview, the challenge that plays a part in determining whether they move on to the next part of the competition, along with online voting. The current crop of candidates were picked through a combination of online voting as well as picks by the selection committee . The delegates have already taken part in the Miss Universe Philippines swimsuit show last month at the Aqua Boracay Bulabog Beach location. The candidates' evening gowns were also recently revealed, with the candidates wearing gowns from designers like Louis Pangilinan, Mark Bumgarner, and Ehrran Montoya. The Miss Universe Philippines coronation night was moved to May 2 to allow for “sufficient time for venue preparation” as well as to ensure the “proper staging and production of the coronation night.” The coronation night was originally mean to be held on May 1.
