CEBU CITY, Philippines—Aspiring girls volleyball players in Cebu’s seventh district will soon get their chance to shine through the Calderon Cup. The district is currently in the middle of an action-packed inter-municipality basketball tournament under the Calderon Cup Development League 21-under, and the addition of a girls’ Under-21 volleyball competition adds depth and diversity to what is already shaping up to be a promising grassroots sports program.
