'No conscious person can support America's actions in Iran' - Silent march in The Hague pays tribute to Minab school strike victims

"Hundreds of activists held a silent march through central The Hague on Thursday to honour the victims of a US-Israeli attack on a school in Iran's Minab in February that killed 175 people, most of them children. Footage shows protesters marching with portraits of the children, Iranian flags, and images of late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, alongside signs and banners condemning the attacks on children and civilians. "We are here in The Hague for the commemoration and the remembrance of the small children killed by an American Tomahawk at the first day of the aggressive war, illegal war of Trump and the Epstein class on Iran," one participant explained. The rally was met by a counterprotest from a group supporting Reza Pahlavi, who tried to block the march route while hoisting the Lion and Sun and Israeli flags. Police were on site to prevent possible clashes. "There is another Iranian voice, which is very cruel, to be honest. I could say that you can have criticism, you can be opposition, but there is no conscious and honest person who can say, "I support America in killing civilians, in killing small children," the protester added. "If you would think logically and wisely, it is the Iranian government which is defending Iranians against terrorism, and it's defending Iranian borders," another claimed. The strike on a school in Minab City occurred on the first day of the US-Israeli war on Iran, killing 175 people, including 120 children. Iran has called the attack a 'brutal war crime' and blamed the US for the strike, after videos circulating online appeared to show a US-made Tomahawk missile hitting the area. US President Donald Trump initially suggested the school strike might have been part of a 'false flag' operation before Washington acknowledged that a 'tragic mistake' had been made due to 'outdated intelligence', claiming the building had previously been part of an IRGC naval compound. Tensions mounted in the Middle East after the US and Israel launched a joint operation against Iran on February 28, which further escalated across the region. A delicate ceasefire has come into effect on April 8 and is set to expire on April 22."
