MANILA – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is looking to file administrative and criminal charges against fixers and personnel involved in “fixing” or the illegal issuance of licenses and documents in exchange for a fee. In a statement on Thursday, LTO chief Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao said employees found to be involved in fixing will face both administrative and criminal charges, aside from getting sacked from their position. “Fixers will be dealt with to the full extent of the law,” Lacanilao said.
