Almost half of Brussels Region’s foreign trade and tourism office set to close

The regional government in the Brussels-Capital Region says that at least 14 of the “Brussels Houses”, offices that promote Brussels in cities abroad are to close. The Brussels Houses in Milan and Barcelona are among those facing closure. The scaling down of the Brussels-Capital Region’s presence in cities abroad is part of a wider programme of savings and cuts the aim of which is to balance the region’s budget by the end of the legislature.
