NACOC issues public apology to man wrongly captured in airport sniffer dog operation

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has issued an official apology to Mr Ebenezer Twum Asante, whose photograph was mistakenly published following a routine behavioural detection exercise at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA). In a restricted-dated letter dated 14th April 2026, the Commission clarified that Mr Asante is not connected to any ongoing investigation by NACOC.
