Typhoon Sinlaku outside PAR moves farther away on Saturday (April 18)

MANILA, Philippines — A typhoon with international name “Sinlaku” has been moving farther from the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.  In the 5 a.m. forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), it said that the weather disturbance has a low chance of affecting the Philippine landmass.
