Heavy traffic expected on NLEX as Summer Blast 2026 draws music fans to Philippine Arena Sunday

MANILA, Philippines — Heavy traffic is expected along the North Luzon Expressway on Sunday, April 19, as music fans head to the Philippine Arena complex in Bulacan for the star-packed Summer Blast 2026. The event will be held from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Philippine Arena and the Philippine Sports Stadium. NLEX advised motorists to load their RFID accounts and plan their trips in advance as traffic buildup is expected in the area throughout the event. Attendees were told to take the Ciudad de Victoria exit, while motorists bound for Bocaue or Santa Maria may use alternate routes through Marilao, Bocaue or Tambubong. Traffic personnel will also be deployed along NLEX-covered areas to assist motorists. Summer Blast 2026 is expected to draw a huge crowd with a lineup that includes Billy Crawford, Dilaw, Michael Pangilinan, IV of Spades, Zack Tabudlo, Sugarcane, Silent Sanctuary, Gloc-9, Mayonnaise, Nobita, Over October, Skusta Clee, Flow G and BGYO.
