More than 91,000 tricycle drivers in Calabarzon receive cash aid

LUCENA CITY — A total of 91,097 tricycle drivers across the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region have received P5,000 each in financial assistance from the national government as of Friday, April 17, amid rising fuel prices. In a report, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Region IV-A said total cash assistance distributed has reached P455.4 million since payouts began on April 8.
