Top diplomats from Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia discuss ways to end Middle East war on sidelines of  Antalya Diplomatic Forum

"Foreign ministers of Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia hold a meeting to explore venues to defuse tensions in the region on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum on Friday. Footage features the top diplomats posing for photos and during the discussion. According to Anadolu news agency, the meeting was due to discuss 'producing regional solutions to regional challenges, particularly the ongoing US/Israel-Iran war'. In a statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty is set to join a quadrilateral meeting with his counterparts from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to discuss 'the progress of US-Iran negotiations and ways to ease regional tensions'. This event was the third meeting of the four ministers, preceded by two previous meetings held in Riyadh and Islamabad in March. On April 8, the United States and Iran agreed to a two-week ceasefire followed by critical Pakistan-brokered negotiations in Islamabad which ended without a deal. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Friday that the Strait of Hormuz is now 'fully open', a move that was welcomed by the US President Donald Trump, noting that a deal with Iran is within sight."
