MANILA, Philippines — Several roads in Pasay City will be closed from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, for the Earth Day Run 2026, the Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office said. The affected roads include SM MOA Block 16, Seaside Avenue, Diokno Avenue, Buendia Extension, Jalandoni Street northbound, Sotto Street, Roxas Boulevard southbound up to the Manila area, and Atang Dela Rama Street. Traffic authorities said zipper lanes will be in place along Diokno Avenue near the impounding area, Sotto Street on the PICC side, and Atang Dela Rama on the PICC side. Motorists were advised to plan their trips ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays in the affected areas. The Earth Day Run 2026 is part of a nationwide campaign led by organizer RUNRIO to promote environmental awareness and eco-friendly practices.
