ILOILO CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI concluded on Saturday, April 18 its three-day cash relief distribution for tricycle drivers across Western Visayas. This phase marks the final leg of a region-wide rollout aimed at cushioning transport workers from rising economic pressures. The payout, which began on April 16, covered multiple provinces, including Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras and Iloilo. Thousands of drivers received P5,000 each through designated municipal venues and centralized distribution sites.
