LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — A new batch of therapy dogs will soon support mental health services in Cebu City after the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) completed a temperament screening. A total of 11 volunteer dogs underwent evaluation at the Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center II (AVRC II) on April 8, 2026, in Barangay Labangon to determine their suitability for animal-assisted therapy.
