Peter Mayleís forthcoming book is ìProvence A to Zî, it is a kind of dictionary about customs, places and food of the provence district , especially the region around the Luberon. Where he first bought a house 15 years ago in MÈnerbes and moved to Lourmarin 8 years ago. He lives the whole year in Lourmarin, the southern part of LubÈron and is well known in the village.Peter Mayle have a real passion for Provence everyone know it by now, and he still collects tales, stories, customs and receipts. Even if he know most of the places he continues to walk 2000 kilometres each year with his dogs, still discovering small paths in the LubÈron hills .He has planted several olive trees in his garden and collected last year two tons of olives to make his own oil.
