Agriculture remains Cebu City's fastest-growing industry in 2024

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Consumer- and service-driven industries continue to be the fastest-growing in Cebu City, according to a report analyzing government data.  Singapore-based public relations firm Briefcase PR analyzed industry trends from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the city between 2023 and 2024 using figures at constant 2018 prices. Their findings showed that the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing remains the best performing industry in Cebu City, after posting a real gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 15.8 percent from 2023 to 2024.
