Sometimes a Greek of the diaspora, at least this one, looks at his country of birth and despairs. While Greece has made many strides since the reestablishment of democracy in 1974 we are reminded often that in many ways we still live in the 1840s when corruption was “officially” established by the then prime minister Ioannis Kolettis.
