ILOILO CITY — Public transportation in Iloilo City is expected to operate normally on Tuesday, April 21, despite a planned nationwide transport strike, after a major local coalition of operators confirmed it will not join the protest, Mayor Raisa Treñas said. In a statement on Monday, April 20, Treñas said the Western Visayas Alliance of Transport Cooperatives and Corporations Inc. (WVATCCI) assured the city government that its member groups will continue operations.
