Hospitals in Cebu on heightened alert for health effects tied to haze

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Although no one has been hospitalized due to the haze so far, hospitals in Metro Cebu have been urged to prepare. These were among the measures the provincial government has started implementing as Cebu Province’s urban center remains blanketed with smog for a third straight day on Monday, April 20. Gov.
