Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras argued to Kathimerini it is time to proceed with reviewing the tax system, including tax exemptions, by creating a committee along the lines of what existed in 2002. He also sees sufficient fiscal space for more support measures as things stand, but without value-added tax or special consumption tax cuts.
