An expert opinion from the Islamic Religious Community in Austria (IGGÖ) supports the view that the headscarf ban is unconstitutional. It violates the obligation of neutrality in religious and ideological matters. The IGGÖ plans to challenge the law at the Constitutional Court (VfGH).
