OBANDO, Bulacan — A 54-year-old woman evacuated following a fire at the Navotas sanitary landfill died on Tuesday, due to suspected health complications, local officials said. Mayor Leonardo Valeda identified the victim as Arlene Abot, a resident of the island barangay of Salambao in this town. Valeda said Abot was rushed aboard a municipal ambulance shortly past midnight on Monday to San Lorenzo General Hospital in nearby Malabon City.
