MANILA, Philippines – The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has suspended nine units of a bus company for 30 days after issuing a show cause order (SCO) over a fatal road crash in Quezon. In a statement on Tuesday, LTFRB Chairperson Vigor Mendoza II said the agency has summoned Delmonte Motor Works Inc., the operator of the passenger bus involved in the incident. He added that the incident may constitute a violation of rules on ensuring safe land transport for passengers.
