Confirming the development, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the state remains unwavering in its commitment to protecting national security. “In the wee hours today, our alert security forces identified and pushed back 16 illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. As I have said time and again, Assam will fight till the last breath to safeguard Bharat’s security,” the Assam Chief Minister expressed.
