NC announced Wednesday that it is launching AION 2 globally in the second half of this year exclusively on PC platforms through Steam and the company's own PURPLE launcher. The Pangyo-based company said the global version of AION 2 is being developed as a PC-only title, optimized for the playing habits of MMORPG users worldwide. Players can add the game to their Steam wish list starting Wednesday. NC said it plans to operate dedicated regional servers for North America, South America, Europe and Japan. The global version will support 10 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and both simplified and traditional Chinese. The development team is scheduled to hold a session in May to present additional details about the game and engage with the global player community.
