MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Wednesday said there is no confirmation yet and that it is still “considering” the invitation for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to undertake a state visit to Japan in May. The remarks came after a Tokyo-based English-language news magazine and website reported that the Japanese government is in talks with Marcos for a possible state visit early next month.
