Fly Jinnah to begin two daily flights between Lahore, Islamabad

Fly Jinnah will start double daily flights between Lahore and Islamabad from May 1, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif announced on Wednesday. In a post on social media X, the minister said that the development will be a great relief for all commuters, particularly lawyers, businessmen, patients and elderly people. He said the commencement of these flights will also support the government’s austerity measures in terms of “fuel saving and road traffic, in addition to time saving for professionals.” “Government will continue to encourage air connectivity between all cities in Pakistan as well as international destinations. PIA and all Pakistani airlines are expanding their fleets to provide safe and efficient air transport to passengers.” In 2025, Fly Jinnah announced the launch of its new service connecting Lahore to Muscat in Oman . The addition of Muscat to Fly Jinnah’s Lahore network strengthens the airline’s international connectivity, which already includes popular destinations such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Sharjah and Bahrain.
