W Hotel enters Saudi market, opens in Riyadh’s KAFD

Saudi Arabia has welcomed its first W Hotel, with the global hospitality brand opening a new property in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).In a statement, KAFD said the launch marks a significant step in strengthening the district’s hospitality offering, underscoring its appeal to leading international brands and reinforcing its position as a growing business and leisure destination.For more news on Saudi Arabia, visit our dedicated page.The opening adds to a growing list of hotels in the district, including the Kimpton KAFD Riyadh, which opened last September. KAFD also signed a hotel management agreement has been signed with Hilton to operate a 450-room property within the development.The W Riyadh features 210 rooms, 17 suites and two penthouses, alongside the brand’s signature penthouse offering.
