"The capital of Russia’s Volga region was hit by 27 centimetres of snowfall on Tuesday - a record for the spring month of April, according to Russia’s meteorological service. Footage shows a blizzard blanketing Nizhny Novgorod’s main square with snow. The video also captures ploughs clearing snowdrifts from the city streets.
