Iran seizes ships, fires in Strait of Hormuz as tensions rise

Iran has seized two ships and fired on three vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. This action tightens Iran's control over the strategic waterway. One vessel may have been heading to Gujarat. Iran stated the Strait would not reopen while a US naval blockade remained. The Revolutionary Guards seized the vessels for maritime violations.
