Austrians Rarely Take Out Insurance for Pets

To protect themselves from financial burdens, pet owners take out health insurance for their animals. In Austria, however, only 21.3 percent do so, which is still relatively few. This was revealed by a survey with over 2,100 participants in Austria, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, as reported by Svenja Springer from the VetMed-Uni Vienna and her co-authors in "VetRecord".
