MANILA, Philippines – The recently signed Inter-Agency Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on the ban of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (Pogos) must dismantle the entire network of illegal operations, Sen. Risa Hontiveros said on Thursday. On Wednesday, the SOP was signed to implement Republic Act No. 12312, or the Anti-Pogo Act—a measure Hontiveros championed. “The SOP must go after that entire architecture, and the whole of government must not stop until the entire structure comes down.
