VKI Class Action Against Life Insurances Successful: Refunds in the Millions

In connection with opaque cost clauses in capital-forming life insurance policies concluded before 2007, approximately 10,000 participants in a VKI class action will receive a refund. The Association for Consumer Information (VKI) and the insurance industry agreed on "a significant amount in the low double-digit million range," as the VKI announced in a press release on Thursday.
