DENR, 2 private firms join hands to rehabilitate Cavite, Batangas creeks

LUCENA CITY, QUEZON, Philippines — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), through its Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) in Region 4A, has partnered with private firms to rehabilitate two creeks in Cavite and Batangas. On Thursday, April 23, EMB-Region 4A and Jollibee Foods Corporation signed a memorandum of agreement to conserve, protect, and develop a 920-meter stretch of Biwas Creek in Tanza, Cavite. The creek runs through Barangays Biwas, Daang Amaya III, Poblacion II, Poblacion III, and Poblacion IV.
