EU approves €90bn Ukraine loan and new Russia sanctions

The European Union has approved a €90 billion loan for Ukraine and adopted a new sanctions package against Russia after oil flows resumed through a key pipeline, ending months of political deadlock. The decision followed the restart of crude oil deliveries through the Druzhba pipeline, which supplies Hungary and Slovakia.
