MANILA, Philippines — The weather system, easterlies, is forecast to continue bringing hot and humid weather with chances of localized thunderstorms across the country on Friday, the state weather bureau reported. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the easterlies, which refer to the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, are still affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Pagasa weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said the easterlies will bring hot and humid weather from noon to afternoon, while localized thunderstorms may occur from afternoon to evening.
