LUCENA CITY — The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Talisay, Batangas, on Friday warned residents of dangerous heat after the heat index reached 40°C. “As per monitoring from [Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration], Talisay, Batangas is currently experiencing a Heat Index of 40°C, classified under extreme caution,” the MDRRMC said in a public advisory posted on its Facebook page.
