Chinese and Russian defence ministers agree to enhance cooperation, Beijing says

BEIJING: China’s Defence Minister, Dong Jun, met with his Russian counterpart during a trip to Russia on Friday, the Chinese ministry said in a statement: The two agreed to further enhance strategic communication and “deepen practical cooperation across all fields,” according to the Chinese statement. They agreed to “jointly uphold world justice and international order, and inject new impetus” into bilateral ties. The two had an “in-depth exchange of views” on bilateral and military ties, and “the international and regional situation and issues of common concern”.
