MANILA, Philippines–Annie Ramirez captured her third consecutive Asian Beach Games gold medal after defeating compatriot Emily Thomas in the women’s -57kg jiu-jitsu final on Friday at Athletes’ Village in Sanya, China. Ramirez and Thomas completed an all-Filipino gold medal match after both advanced to the final earlier in the day at the Sanya Bay Yuhai Club.
