J&K: Six booked under Public Safety Act in Sopore for allegedly disrupting law and order

Six persons have been booked under the stringent Public Safety Act in Sopore, Baramulla district. Authorities took this action following their alleged involvement in recent law and order disturbances and acts of vandalism during a student protest. The individuals are now detained in Bhadarwah District Jail. The Public Safety Act allows for preventive detention without trial.
