Cebu heat index may reach 40°C on Saturday

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Generally fair weather will continue in Cebu on Saturday, April 25, but hot and humid conditions may push the heat index up to 40 degrees Celsius, the state weather bureau said. In its daily forecast, the Visayas Pagasa Regional Services Division reported that actual temperatures in the province may range from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius. The heat index, however, may climb as high as 40 degrees Celsius, which falls under the “extreme caution” category.
