A massive fire engulfed over 100 shanties in Delhi's Shakur Basti area late Friday night. The blaze spread rapidly across a two-acre area. Firefighters worked through the night to control the flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Cooling operations continued to prevent any resurgence of the fire.
