TACLOBAN CITY — A three-year-old girl died while eight others, including several minors, were injured when a vehicle plowed into pedestrians along Imelda Lane in Barangay Imelda, Tolosa, Leyte Friday evening. The incident occurred at around 7:55 p.m. as police officers from the Tolosa Municipal Police Station (MPS) were conducting foot patrol and visibility operations near the municipal town plaza. Initial investigation showed that the vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man identified as “Tony” from Burauen, Leyte, was traveling toward the national road when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
