CALAPAN CITY — The Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) region’s economy expanded by 4.2 percent in 2025, slightly slower than the 4.4-percent growth recorded in 2024, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). The PSA said the that in terms of levels, the regional economy was estimated at P 447.47 billion in 2025. The agency noted that growth was driven largely by the services sector and a rebound in agriculture.
