Miriam Cates clashed with celebrity relationship expert Nadia Essex over the divide between men and women. GB News host Dawn Neesom was forced to intervene as the pair went head-to-head on the notion of marriage being “lethal” to women. “We have to remember that men are women's apex predator,” Ms Essex began. “You are more likely to be killed by the man that you marry than any other 8 billion people on this planet,” she claimed. Miriam quickly shot back, saying: “Women who are married are the least likely to face domestic abuse, less likely than women who are cohabiting and less likely than women who are single.” The debate further intensified when she brought up “all the jobs that men do that are absolutely crucial to society”. “We as women would not be safe or able to exist if those men didn't do those jobs for us,” Miriam insisted. Ms Essex quickly interjected: “We could do those jobs!” “We need men to do all these jobs… because women do all the other jobs that make it possible for men to do those jobs,” the relationship expert declared.
