ILOILO CITY — An oil spill was reported along the shoreline of Barangay Hoskyn in Jordan town, Guimaras early Saturday (April 25), prompting officials to warn residents and fisherfolk to stay away from the affected coastal areas. The spill was detected at 7:05 a.m. near the barangay hall and covered court, affecting parts of Sitio Sambag and Sitio Baluarte, according to an advisory.
