P8.2-M shabu seized, 2 nabbed in Leyte drug den bust

TACLOBAN CITY— Authorities dismantled a suspected drug den and seized more than P8.2 million worth of shabu in a joint anti-drug operation in Barangay Damulaan, Albuera, Leyte on Saturday, April 25, police said. Operatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a coordinated buy-bust that led to the arrest of two suspected drug personalities identified only as alias “Kres,” 41, and alias “Potot,” 22. Police tagged Kres, a resident of Baybay City,also in Leyte, as a high-value individual, while Potot, a construction worker from Albuera, was listed as a street-level individual.
