"Hundreds of locals and visitors gathered near the Berlin Wall in the German capital on Sunday as the city embraces the cherry blossom season. Footage shows crowds strolling beneath the blossoms, stopping to take photos and enjoy the brief but striking display. "This is my first time coming here, and it’s really wonderful to see all the trees in full bloom," said local Dipti. "It's close to the city center and it's very accessible for all the people to come and see the trees." The cherry blossoms in Berlin are more than just a seasonal attraction. Many of the trees were gifted by a Japanese association to celebrate Germany's reunification. "I think this time is prime time, is a little bit later than in Asia, but now it's just perfect time," another visitor said, who had discovered the place while passing through. Along paths like the Berlin Wall Trail, once dividing East and West, the blossoms now stand as a living reminder of unity. For many, the bloom has also become a cultural ritual, especially for international residents who associate cherry blossoms with springtime traditions across Asia. “Everything is beautiful, the atmosphere is nice, and people are very cheerful because it’s sunny. We’re grateful to be here,” said a woman from China. With over a thousand cherry trees lining parts of the city, particularly along the TV Asahi Cherry Blossom Alley, Berlin’s fleeting pink season continues to attract crowds eager to experience its beauty before it fades."
