The march was interspersed with various celebratory activities, while the park’s entrances were adorned with screens displaying the state flag and patriotic slogans, most notably 'Long live UAE'. "This day is special, and this is the least we can offer to the UAE – a land of pride and dignity," said Mustafa, a participant. The park’s official spokesperson, Rasha Qablawi, explained that the event was organised following its announcement on social media and saw 'a great turnout', reflecting 'the unity of the Abu Dhabi community and the unity of the United Arab Emirates community – residents and citizens alike'. Umm Al Emarat Park had announced earlier that it was hosting a national community march bringing together members of the community to express their pride and gratitude for living and working in the United Arab Emirates. The park confirmed that entry would be free during that period, inviting community members to wear the colours of the national flag and participate in this event, which reflects a spirit of unity and belonging."
