Ex-Secret Service Official: WHCD Breach “Not Acceptable,” Review Underway

Former Secret Service Deputy Director A.T. Smith says it was “not acceptable” that the alleged shooter was able to run past magnetometers and get as close as he did to the perimeter. Smith said the Secret Service will closely review how the suspect managed to bypass screening and approach the area while carrying two firearms.
